1. Risks of doing nothing? Slip and fall accidents are the leading cause of non-fatal injuries in public buildings. These accidents cause injuries to both employees and customers.

The Americans with Disabilities Act under (ADA) Title III requires all public accommodations provide anti-slip walking surfaces.

The risks are injuries to employees, customers, yourself, employee lost time, lawsuits, increased insurance costs, and hefty fines for non-compliance of federal (ADA) mandates.

Customer dissatisfaction can also result in lost sales and revenues.

2. What are my options? Options include covering floors with carpet, rubber mats, runners, and chemicals that deteriorate and need to be constantly reapplied. OR one of the Wisconsin No Slip Floors solutions.

3. What surfaces will it work on? Wisconsin No Slip Floors offers three major solutions. One or more of these solutions can be chosen and will eliminate the danger of slippery floors on almost every surface. (sorry we can¹t do anything about carpeting)

4. How long will it last? Our Get A Grip HM Treatments are warranted two years for workmanship and material. Customers report that the non-slip treatments last for many more years.

Our Get A Grip FVP either with or without added Aggregate is warranted for five years.

5. How soon before I can use it? Treatments will normally be scheduled within two weeks of ordering, and completed in just one visit before or after normal business hours. Floors treated with Get A Grip HM are safe and ready for use immediately. Floors treated with our Get A Grip FVP must not be used for eight hours after application and will need to be kept dry and restricted to moderate foot traffic only for 88 hours.

6. What does a treatment cost? All of our treatments are priced by the square footage to be treated.

Get A Grip HM Treatments vary from $2 per sq. ft. at 200 sq. ft. to $0.85 per sq. ft. over 2500 sq. ft.

Get A Grip FVP without Aggregate price example 200. ft. $398. Depending on what floor material type floor preparation can vary from $15. to $74.50 per 200 sq. ft.

Get A Grip FVP with Aggregate price example 200 sq. ft. $478. Depending on what floor material type floor preparation can vary from $15. to $74.50 per 200 sq. ft.

Our Get A Grip Epoxy Coating investment varies by application use and amount of labor required for the extreme verity of applications.

•Extra charges can be avoided by having floors clean, free of grease and wax build-up, and furniture removed from areas to be treated before we arrive.

7. Which treatment is right for me? Our Get A Grip HM Treatment is an excellent choice for all hard mineral surfaces such as, ceramic tile, quarry tile, terrazzo, concrete, marble, granite, porcelain, enamel and more.

Our Get A Grip FVP with or without Aggregate will also work on all the hard mineral surfaces, along with most other surfaces, fiberglass, vinyl, plastic, wood and more.

The Get A Grip Epoxy Coating will also work on most surfaces, but is best for small areas. Bathtubs and showers, stepladders, boat trailers, and any where else you need the extra traction. Let us know what your problem is we can help you choose the proper treatment.

8. How can my bathtub and shower be slip proofed? We offer three options.

For porcelain and enamel finishes we recommend our Get A Grip HM treatment. It is quick, ready to use immediately and will not alter the appearance.

For all material surfaces including porcelain and enamel Get A Grip FVP with Aggregate is an excellent choice. Note: The only disadvantage of this option for porcelain and enamel is the longer cure time required.

The third option also good for all surfaces is our Get A Grip Epoxy Coating. This option requires a little more surface preparation, will create strong paint fumes for several hours, and is ready for use in 24 hours after application.

9. Would any of these treatments be uncomfortable for children and others bathing? No. The only possibility would be if the Get  Grip FVP with Aggregate treatment did not have the adequate amount of clear coats applied over the Aggregate. This is very simply remedied by applying more clear coats.

10. Are there any IRS incentives? Yes. There are two IRS tax incentive programs available for many small businesses to comply with ADA requirements. Consult your tax advisor.

11. Can I do the treatment myself or have my maintenance personal do it? Yes, we will need to get some specifics about your application. We will provide detailed instruction. We highly recommend that you test our products on your floor to learn the process we suggest. With a little care and following our instruction most people will be very successful.
