| No Slip Hard Mineral Treatment:
Our chemical works with the silica sand that is in all hard mineral surfaces. The existing pours are deepened and widened to create a tread pattern. This provides the extra traction that eliminates the danger of slippery floors without altering the appearance. Ceramic tile, terrazzo, concrete, marble, granite, porcelain, enamel and other hard mineral surfaces. The process of slip-proofing your floors is really quite simple. - First we must start with a clean floor. We ask that you clean the floor(s) to be treated before we arrive or we can clean the floor(s) for an additional cost.
- Second, we will do a Static Coefficient of Friction (SCOF) test to establish your current rate.
- Next, we will test to obtain the proper solution mixture and the duration time required to reach optimal treatment. This will be followed by the actual teating of the surface.
- After the treatment duration time has been reached, depending on the type of surface material and floor drainage available, we will rinse thoroughly or treat with a neutralizer.
- Another SCOF test will be conducted to show that OSHA and ADA requirements have been met.
- Your floor is now safe to use when wet!
Textured Epoxy Coating:
This is an aerosol epoxy paint with a texture added. It sprays just like paint, dries to touch in about one hour, and is normally cured within 24 hours. It is designed for interior and exterior use on wood, concrete, steel, fiberglass, aluminum and other surfaces where controlled, footing is desired. Bathtubs, showers, steps, ramps, step latter's, boat trailers, and so much more. No Slip Water Based Sealer/Finish with Aggregate:
An aggregate can be added to the first clear coat when still wet. After remaining clear coats are applied the aggregate is barely visible, but has the advantage of extra slip proofing in those areas that require extra protection. Such as garage floors, steps, kitchens, and other often wet and greasy floors. No Slip Water Based Sealer/Finish:
This is a clear coat multi layer system. The clear coat enhances the appearance and increases the slip resistance beyond the ADA requirement. Ceramic Tile Prep information and product sheet Concrete Prep information and product data sheet Grout Coating information and product data sheet | |
